Happy New year to all of you. May 2012 be full of joy and happiness to everybody.

We are very excited about 2012 as it will mark the return of the Last Empress of Bollywood. Rumors are that English Vinglish will be released in the Summer of 2012 and there are other rumors that it will be in February. Anyhow nothing is confirmed yet. Here are with the Picture that surfaced from the sets of the movie. As usual Sridevi is looking at her best.

Happy birthday Sridevi and many many returns on the day. Wishing her and all her beloved all joy and happiness in her 48th birthday. And with this lovely occasion we have added few lovely pictures of Sri in the gallery section under August 2011.

Amitabh Bachchan in English Vinglish:

There has been so many news going about Sridevi and her comeback vehicle. The first good news is that Amitabh Bachchan is playing a cameo in the movie. It has been almost 20 years since both were seen  playing neck to neck in the powerfull Khuda Gawah in 1992.

Mr. Bachchan seems to be happy shooting again with Sridevi that he tweeted 'Shooting today with the effervescent Sri Devi after eternity almost .. for R Balki's wife's directed film 'English Vinglish".. Sri Devi still the same .. spontaneous and lovely ..!! Gauri, R Balki's wife .. directing film .. woman power at peak .. my second experience .. eventually women will take over the world !'

While the Big B was happy to be a part of Sridevi's comeback venture, The Last Empress  did her part to keep the actor happy on the sets of the film. She got home-cooked food for the entire cast and crew.

The Ultimate Queen is Back

Yes Sridevi has reportedly decided to make a Bollywood comeback in Gauri Shinde's directorial debut.
Shinde's husband R. Balki said  "Yes, Sridevi will star in her film and I'm doing another project with Mr Bachchan.
"Will my film too star Sridevi? Why not? But at the moment it's too early to talk about the casting of my film."
Bachchan and Sridevi have appeared together before in Inquilaab and Khuda Gawah.

Nothing has yet been mentioned that who will be supporting Sri in the movie yet but it is definitely not Amitabh Bachchan. At least not for this project. This will be a Sridevi movie for sure.

As you can see from the picture above Sridevi has been the cover girl for asia spa India magazine. The pictures are breathtaking. She is a true queen. Her pictures are so real unlike some of her contemporaries who need heavy photo shopping to reduce their waist, arms, double chin etc. We do not havet a copy yet of the magazine but we will and should publish the interview too. But here is a small article written by the photographer Suresh Natarajan about his experience with shooting with Sridevi.

“Jaanu, ask for a glass of carrot juice,” she says as she readies for a shot in one of her favourite Donna Karan lime green gown. She is standing in the middle of a fibre sculpture shaped like a flower as the photographer’s assistant frantically wipes the glass window behind with a crumpled newspaper, another assistant stands ready with a high voltage lit bulb behind to give the ‘glow’ you generally see in the actresses pictures.

“Okay ready”, says Suresh Natarajan, the photographer and she strikes a pose... so very familiar to many of her fans. This is the real Chaal Baaz Sridevi, naughty gleaming eyes with an innocence that swept cinema goers in the 80s, the Sridevi that danced seductively in a red [er blue!] chiffon saree to the invisible Mr. India! As she gives her poses for the shot, it is evident why she was at one time even branded as the male Mr Amitabh Bachchan. She flirts with the camera with such grace and calm that only comes with years of experience.

There is simplicity in her manner, and a no-attitude persona behind the aura which is instantly endearing. She looks startling beautiful!

For asiaSpa’s 7th anniversary special issue I was shooting with Sridevi at the Quan Spa, JW Marriott Pune. And I have to admit that it has been a pleasure doing this shoot with her, which is not what I can say about many shoots that I have done with other Indian film actresses. (Beat this – There was this one particular actress who demanded white flowers for a shot, then decided that she wanted a yellow one with a scowl, then changed her decision to not using the flower at all because the hotel staff was just a little bit slow in sourcing the flowers.)

Sridevi is totally a spa person – she knows her wraps and she knows her scrubs. The spa menu is as familiar to her as the back of her hand. She is familiar with all the new treatments and the innovations that the spa industry is coming up with.

She has sort of wrapped wellness around her and her family. Her two daughters Jhanavi – Jaanu as she fondly called her – and Khushi, the younger one, are both already introduced to the spa therapies.

A doting mother, patience comes to her naturally. At the height of her career she gave it all up to concentrate on her family, and says, “It came naturally to me and my children and family became my priority.”

However, now she is all set and excited about making a comeback in a movie written and directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by her husband R. Balki of ‘Paa’ fame. She says, “I am very excited about the subject. In this movie, I play a housewife, who sets out to find her own identity.”

In this candid interview with asia Spa Sridevi revealed all about living a life marked by wellness, and even opened up about her discovery of a passion for painting, which is a facet of her personality that is not known to many. She also shared many secrets behind her beautiful skin and perfect body. Her effortless beauty and enigmatic aura was truly enchanting, and her electrifying presence and energy, infectious! This spirited interaction and the gorgeous shoot was a truly beautiful experience!

Today we have added two scenes from the movie Laadla

Yet another great introduction scene from Sridevi. This is the first scene in the movie as well and you get the feeling who will be dominating the movie for the next three hours. Sri played the character of Sheetal Jetley to perfection. Everything from look of a businesswoman to voice modulation. And who can ever forget her catchphrase "Understand? you better understand"

In Hollywood and specifically Meryl Streep's introduction scene in the Devil Wears Prada has always reminded us of this scene. However Meryl's scene was more comic while Sri's is more serious. Yet both played their characters to extreme perfection and they looked totally in character with their look and body language.

In this scene we see Sheetal Angry because Raju has taken her car. We love the way Sridevi did this scene. Her facial expression shows hate and anger. Such an amazing performance by the empress.

Last week we had an update which was a song from Judaai. This week we have two video updates from the same film. It is one scene but cut into two parts.  In the scene Sridevi exhibits all the different emotions, her comic timing, the funny personality of the character, the shame and guilt emotions and then getting emotional in the second part . It shows her unique ability on how she is able express the different emotions of a single character.Enjoy

Today's update is a song from the movie Judaai. This is a very nicely picturized song on Sridevi. Sri appears here with her trademark that is chiffon sari looking ravishing. The song is composed by Nadeem Shravan and sang by Jaspinder Narula.

Sorry guys as were not able to update for quite some time. Every now and then there are new rumors that Sridevi is making a comeback. The latest is from the south industry. It is rumored that Sridevi has been offered a role in the remake of 1978 classic Sigappu Rojakkal which will be directed by Bharathiraja’s son Manoj.  Manoj has requested Kamal Hassan to sing a song in the film. But to Sridevi… he has created a special role in the new version and has communicated it to her through his dad. Our Sridevi is yet to give her decision. So do you think she will say yes or no to this movie?

Another new ad which is being aired for Sridevi is her latest Vanish washing powder Ad. The ad is really cool and she looks ravishing in it.  Sridevi said about the product "Vanish is a great International product that we use at home all the time. I find it immensely useful with young children at home. I would recommend it to everyone and I am happy to partner with Reckitt Benckiser in promoting this wonderful product"

Chander Mohan Sethi, Chairman and Managing Director Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd, said Sridevi was appointed the face of Vanish due to her ‘great stature’ with Indian housewives.

She is also one of the few celebrities whose popularity cuts across all geographies in India. She was a natural choice for the Vanish Brand Ambassador,” said Sethi.

In the past 2 months Sridevi has attended so many events and graced them with her electrifying presence. From those events are two different wedding receptions. We have added few pictures from the same and will add more pictures in the coming days.

Added to the image gallery few pictures of Sridevi attending the 2010 Stardust Awards. She looked as usual elegant and gorgeous. She has attended the function with family.

I still cannot forget how people started clapping hysterically during this scene in the cinema and all the other transformation scenes that followed.. I have never experienced this before. This is a scene I can never forget. It is with this particular scene that made audience feel the magic of the been (the music). The way Sridevi has played the nagin (snake) character in this movie is completely unmatched. Not anyone before her has done so perfectly and until date nobody after her could play such a role with perfection and I doubt if anyone would be able to give such a performance in the future and that is what makes Nagina a very close movie to my heart, always.

In this scene Sri does not have to say a single word. All the dialogue is done by Amrish Puri and Sushma Seth, but the real magic starts when the been starts playing. The way she reveals herself from behind the wall is just amazing and adds up to the overall suspense the movie demands. She gives a fully precise facial features that makes you believe that what you are watching is a real snake that was hidden behind the wall and started revealing itself. The blue contacts and the snake picture both added the effect too but they are not what I'm referring to here. What I'm referring to is the way her eyes are looking, the way she moves her eyebrows and lips in sync with the music giving a very sharp facial expression as the snake that is appearing next to her.

And as always with this lady, she is not playing herself but playing Rajni. A unique character from Nagina that she did not play before and did not repeat playing after. Even with the sequel Nigahen she has played the character Neelam totally different than this one.

Unlike many other actresses she never played herself in any movie and once she has commented on that "No director would ever ask me to play the real Sridevi because the real Sridevi is boring to be projected in a movie"

Today added to video clips a lovely song from the movie Nazrana. The song is "Jhan Jhanana Jhan Payal Bole" sang by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohd Aziz. Sri looks stunning and dances very well here.

Congratulations to Sridevi and Boney Kapoor for getting awards on the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) 2009 for their contribution to Indian Cinema. Brother in law Anil Kapoor was among Bollywood personalities to get such award as well.

Boney Kapoor has locked the script and filming dates for Mr India sequel, starring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Sridevi, who makes a comeback with this film. "We've already locked in the script. In two weeks, we'll finalize the director," said producer Boney Kapoor, adding that the filming will begin early next year.
 

Boney wanted Anurag Kapoor to direct the film last year but Anurag chose to go for Rakesh Roshan's Kites.
Boney has waited long to relaunch the career of his wife, Sridevi, and with this film he has found the right launch vehicle. Anil Kapoor is the original Mr India but one would have to wait and see how Salman Khan fits into the script. He could well be the new Mogambo!

Earlier this year there was a talk of Shah Rukh Khan being offered the role of Mogambo but it was never confirmed.
"I don't think I can make a film without Salman. He is in Mr India 2 and also in the sequels to No Entry and Wanted. I'm his new Sooraj Barjatya."

Boney says there is also going to be a young pair in the film but their names have not been disclosed yet.
Shekhar Kapoor, who directed the original film, has penned the script of the film. Talking about the story he said, "I have written a basic but modern story. It is about the present day youth and what is happening with technology today." Shekhar will oversee the project.

Bollywood superstars and leading Indian singers are expected to attract tens of thousands of fans to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium this week. The concert “Southern Dreamz 2009” will celebrate 38th National Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), The performers will be Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Prabhu Deva. Other stars, such as Celina Jaitley, Neha Dhupia, Tanusree Dutta, Nitu Chandra, Reema Sen, Negar Khan and Mumait Khan will also perform.

Now the good news is that Sridevi will be the special guest for the evening, and Boman Irani and Mona Singh will anchor the show. The Mega event will be held on December 2 2009. So be sure if you can to lookout for the Devi.

The moment she stepped on the ramp, the main show area was filled with cheers as the audience couldn’t stop looking at Bollywood actress Sridevi. The actress looked stunning in a black gown as she walked the ramp for jewellery designer Queenie Dhody at the inaugural jewellery show of HDIL India Couture Week.“She is looking so stunning. Just look at her, she is so beautiful,” said a mesmerised member of the audience. As soon as she started walking the ramp, some one from the audience shouted: “Come on Sridevi, you are the best.”

It was not just the audience, even Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Sanjay Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Dia Mirza, Zayed Khan and Karan Johar clapped relentlessly till she left the ramp.
“She looked like a diva. Just look at her, it seems that she is getting younger day by day. The way she has maintained herself is amazing,” Raveena Tandon told IANS after the show. This is the first time that HDIL-ICW had a high-end jewellery show that featured four jewellery designers - Devaunshi Mehta, Farah Khan, Queenie Dhody and Maheep Kapoor - who came out with their dazzling collections.

The remake of the yesteryear blockbuster Maapillai, which had Rajinikanth in the lead role, is underway. Rajini’s real-life maapillai, Dhanush, has been signed up to play the hero in the new version. One of the important characters in the original version was the mother-in-law role. This role was essayed by the late Sri Vidya in the original version and has remained etched out in our memories. Sridevi has been offered that role for 1 crore Rupees but she rejected it. Now it is stated that her old time rival Jaya Prada has been signed for that role.

We loved the way she painted those two paintings that Salman has shown in his show. The latest news say that Wanted is a big hit now and that it is the biggest hit of 2009 so far. Anyhow, today we have added few Sridevi pictures from the Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition. This time she appeared in a grey dress with orange accessories. She looked fabulous.

Few days back it was the Karva Chauth and with this occasion Boney Kapoor said , "Sri has been keeping karva chauth for the last 13 years, ever since we got married. Yesterday evening we went to our parents home in Andheri and celebrated the occasion with dinner there along with my brother Sanjay and his wife Maheep."

And again when Boney asked about making a movie for Sridevi's comeback he replied "If I don't, her fans will kill me. I've heard a script I've liked." So guys lets wait and see :)

Yesterday We have celebrated the 20th anniversary year on the release of Yash Chopra's Chandni. And because of this occasion we have decided our update to be purely chandni. We have added three clips from Chandni.

This scene from the movie is extremely beautiful. The visuals, the cinematography, the dialogue, the music and of course above all that it is Sridevi that makes the scene look totally beautiful and classic. It is one of our favorite scenes from the movie.

We have to say that we have never seen a more beautiful Taandav than this one in Bollywood. Sridevi looks so elegant and so precise in her steps. Moreover her beautiful facial expressions make this taandav the best ever.

In this song - Aa Meri Jaan - Sridevi looks very simple in her white outfits yet extremely gorgeous and suitable for the character she is playing. The song is very melodious and sang by the great Lata Mangeshkar

Watch out for this week's episode of Dus Ka Dum on the 19th of Sept as the Devi will be featured along with her husband Boney.

Many rumors recently have been circulating regarding Sridevi's comeback. One is in a Tamil movie which is a remake of Rajnikanth- starrer Maapillai (son-in-law) that was a huge hit. In the movie, the hero takes on an arrogant and scheming mother-in-law. The former queen of Bollywood, who went into semi-retirement after her marriage to film producer Boney Kapoor, spurned many offers from Tamil films that kept pouring in. But it is rumored that she is said to be positively inclined to play onscreen mother-in-law to Tamil actor Danush, who is currently a rage among teens.Danush, incidentally, is the son-in-law of superstar Rajnikanth, with whom Sridevi had paired in many blockbusters in the seventies and eighties.

Though the producers of the film were apprehensive that she would reject the role of a mother-in-law, she surprised them by showing interest in doing the film.The film's director, Suraj, was hesitant to approach her with the offer but said she didn't turn down the role of a mother- inlaw and patiently heard the script.The role was played by Sri Vidya, a contemporary of Sridevi, in the original film that released in 1988.It was in award- winning actor Bharathiraja's film 16 Vayathinile (at age 16) that Rajnikanth and Sridevi acted together for the first time. Rajnikanth played the villain in the film while Kamal Haasan was the hero. Later, Sridevi went on to star in huge hits as the leading lady of both Rajnikanth and Kamal.

Her last movie with Rajnikanth was Naan Adimai Illai (I'm no Slave) in the late 80s, which was also her last Tamil film. "Initially, we had Sridevi and Tabu in our mind for the role. We finally decided to approach Sridevi. In all probability, she will accept the offer. Even this Sunday, I spoke to her about the project," said Suraj.Danush, who is married to Rajnikanth's elder daughter, Aishwarya, is aware that Sridevi still continues to mesmerise the Tamil audience and so, is said to be keen to have her in the project. According to industry sources, Danush might use the help of Rajnikanth's younger daughter, Soundarya, to convince Sridevi. Now if this is true or not we do not know as nothing has been confirmed by Sridevi herself or by her husband Boney.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SRIDEVI

Yesterday 13th August 2009 was our Chandni's 46th birthday. Sridevi has celebrated the occasion with family members. She is the irreplaceable lady superstar of Indian cinema. Bollywood’s all time favorite Queen Bee.  And to make the occasion special Sri’s two pretty daughters Jahnavi, 12 and Khusi, 8 decorated the house. Getting away for a few minutes from the chaos of organizing a small birthday get-together, Sri excitedly said, “My daughters, I can see, have devoted the last two days planning out this day. My husband has some grand plans, I assume. And all the excitement has rubbed onto me as well.”

So who all invited for this quiet celebration? “Right now it’s just family, but you never know. My family may just decide to spring a surprise for me,” she said delightedly. Birthdays mean gifts galore. “I wouldn’t like to share what Boneyji has gifted me, but I can tell you that it’s something wearable. It’s beautiful and I plan to wear it tonight. However, the gifts that are closest to my heart are those given by my daughters. They’ve been writing beautiful letters and making birthday cards for me every year. There’s nothing more special and memorable for me,” gushed the doting mother

Birthdays are more than just cakes and candles for this lovely lady. “Before I married Boneyji, I religiously used to visit Tirupathi on my birthdays. Other than that, visiting orphanages and old age homes were my priorities, after which I used to return home and celebrate the day with my sisters. Those days were so beautiful and carefree”, recalls the Sadma actress fondly “But birthday celebrations have changed for me now. It’s more about spending time with family. They are special, because I feel complete with family.”

And maybe it’s this ‘completeness’ that makes her so beautiful even today. “I think I look better today than I did yesterday,” she confesses, “That’s because I am happy. I feel a positive energy around me all the time. It’s very important to be happy and stress free, otherwise you age faster than you can imagine.”

Today's update is a rare song from one of Sridevi's South movies which was dubbed into Hindi. The movie is Ghayal Sherni which paired her with Krishna and the song is Saathi Pyar Do.

We have added to the gallery section pictures of Sridevi attending two events. One is Satish Kaushik's Teree Sang music launch party and the other is Sridevi promoting Tarana Masanad's collection. She looked so elegant and pretty in both parties.

Our update today is a song "Priyathama" from the blockbuster Telugu movie Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari which paired Sridevi with superstar Chiranjeevi. The movie was a big hit and it has also been dubbed into Hindi as Aadmi Aur Apsara. The music album was a big hit as well and it was composed by the maestro Illyaraja. Many songs of this movie has been taken and redone in different Hindi movies like Beta and Raja Babu. We love this particular song "Priyathama" alot. It is sang by S. Janaki and S.P.B. The song has a beautiful melody. Both the singers have done a true justice to it and it also has Sridevi as a true Apsara. It is worth to mention that her costumes in this song has been designed by Manish Malhotra.

The scene is Sridevi's introduction scene in the movie. It's not only that she is the only actress who has a double role in an Amitabh Bachchan movie but she has the best introduction scene any actress ever had in an Amitabh Bachchan movie as well. The eyes are killers in this scene. Mukul Anand did a really great job in directing this movie . Hope you like the scene.

We have added the song Tu Mujhe Qubool (The first version). Sridevi looks amazingly beautiful here. Reportedly Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan's silver white costumes were regarded among the most expensive costumes at that time. The song is really beautiful and the chemistry between the actors is very intense.

Tu Na Ja Mere Badshah is another very dear song to us. Sridevi looks so graceful in this particular song and she shows the exact emotions that has to be expressed with the lyrics. That is what we call great acting. We really love that special pose of hers on the cliff where she points her both hands towards the skies while the wind is so strongly blowing through her outfit.

Sridevi has stayed away from the lights for a long time hence we have decided to go crazy and bring her back to the lights for everybody but in our own way!!! We have imagined Sridevi in different avatars that we would love to see her whenever she decides to work. Today we have updated the Just for Fun section with the roles which were meant to be played by others but went to Sridevi. The amazing fact about them is that when Sridevi played these roles she has turned them into GOLD!! We do not know how would the other actresses would have played them, but after watching Sridevi living each character it is impossible for us to even think that Sridevi was not the first or the only choice for them. Such a power this tigress has. You can find it under Just for Fun.

Lately many websites have posted about Salman Khan and how he wishes to invite Sridevi in his show.
Salman recently, spelt out his wish list for his television show and Sridevi figured at the top of his list. It was said that during Sridevi’s heydays, Salman used to be in awe of her. However, he worked with her in a couple of films; he couldn’t break the ice with her. He has worked with Boney Kapoor a few times and every time Sridevi came on the sets, he would disappear from the sets or shy away from her. But this time around, the usually reticent Sridevi might be the one to make the next move and relieve Salman of his awkwardness. Sridevi will be seen on Salman’s show promoting Boney Kapoor’s ready-to-release film Wanted which stars Salman Khan in the lead.

Salman has gifted his Wanted producer Boney Kapoor two more paintings for his Lokhandwala flat. Salman had already given one of his paintings to Sridevi for her bungalow in Chennai. Boney confirmed receiving an original Salman Khan creation, "He has given Sridevi three paintings in total. Sri, who is an also an artist, had gifted him one of her paintings when he'd come out of Jodhpur jail last year. When Salman was shooting in Chennai and visited Sridevi's bungalow for the first time, he gifted her a painting and later, when we shifted from our Juhu bungalow to Lokhandwala, he gifted us two paintings."

And since here we are talking about Salman and Sridevi we should remember their first film together Chandramukhi which was the story idea of Salman Khan himself. What more excuse could Salman give to work with Sri!!. While in Hollywood they were working with Super Hero kind of films like Superman etc Bollywood came up with the super woman kind of movie. Recently she has attended the wedding ceremony of her personal trainer Manish Tiwari with Payal Gidwani. As usual she was the focus of the event. The special upload for today is from the movie Sultanat. Sridevi has proved that the way she can change from a character to another is exactly the way the snake changes its skin. She played a middle class girl. spoiled up daughter, child woman, Charlie Chaplin, fragile girl, snake, a girl from the outer space, a business tycoon and here she plays the princess Yasmeen. Very few actresses were convincing in the role of a princess. They can be counted on one hand's fingers. Yes Sridevi is one of them. Manish Tiwari is Sridevi's personal trainer and confirms that our gorgeous Sridevi owes her svelte and shapely frame to the yoga that she has been practicing for five years. But not many know that the actress has also cut out meat from her diet to maintain her ageless figure. Manish Tiwari tells us about her routine. “Sridevi has been doing yoga for five years. She practices for one hour, five times a week. It has changed her body inside out. Yoga cleanses you internally. As long as your organs function perfectly, you will not get any disease. She is looking younger, and there is a glow on her face due to the Surya Namaskars and headstands that she does,” remarks Manish.

“Pranayam, Kapaal Bhaati, 50 Surya Namaskars, Cobra Pose, Padmasana, Naukasana (boat pose), Halasana (plow pose) and Mastyasana (fish pose) are some of the postures that she does. In one session, we do about 30-40 postures. All this tones the muscles, regulates breathing, increases blood flow, and balances everything in your body, resulting in a feeling of wellbeing and health. She likes all the postures in yoga,” says the yoga expert.

Regarding Sridevi's diet, he says, “She eats everything that is healthy and nutritious. She is not allowed to eat fried or oily foods, but once a week she can indulge herself. In fact, we must all indulge ourselves once a week. She used to love non-vegetarian food, but has become a vegetarian now because she feels that is better for her body.”

Our Golden heroine Sridevi recently has attended the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2009 in a golden brown saree. She looked perfect in the traditional look as always. in the event night film personalities like Manoj Kumar, Surinder Kapoor, Shamshad Begum and Prithviraj Kapoor were given awards for their contribution to the Hindi cinema. Sridevi attended the ceremony with Boney and his brother Sanjay Kapoor. Added few pictures in the picture gallery for the event.

Few days back our Queen has attended Lakme Fashion Show week 2009. She attended the event with daughter Jhanvi who is looking better day by day and with hubby Boney Kapoor. Do we have to say that Sridevi was so elegant and rocked the show?

Rishi Kapoor was awarded the same too and in this video talks about Sridevi. Unfortunately this is not the whole video as there is Yash Chopra who spoke about being Sridevi's big fan. You can see how he moves to help the queen to come up on stage. It shows the amount of love and respect he has for the lady.

Again this time the update is a scene and a song video. The scene is a very nice scene from the movie Army. First this was taken from Zee Cinema as all the DVDs in the market for Army had bad prints. What we love about this scene is the way Sridevi emotes with her eyes. The minute they exchange the rings Sri shows how she is able to overshadow other artistes without even having a single dialogue. It is just unbelievable how beautiful she is and how effective is her eyes movement.

Today we have added two songs from the movie Aulad the first is Raste Kamal Saste Mein. This was added before but it was removed by Youtube. This time it is in a much better quality. The other song is Jeevan Jyote Jale. It is one of our favorite songs as Sridevi looks so gorgeous and graceful, just perfect for the character she played in the movie.

We have removed from the menu the Top 10 movies page as it does not make sense anymore. We are sure that like us many of you have seen how movies change in their top 10 list hence we have removed it and has been replaced with something new. The new section is "Just For Fun". Under this new section we will post many fun stuff plus many factual things too. Today we have started with roles that were rejected by Sridevi and went to other actresses. Of course the list is not complete and will be updated more frequently but we need your help guys in doing so with your suggestions and opinions. We knew that Karan Johar is a die hard Sridevi fan from long time but other actresses fans claim that he is a big fan of X, Y or Z actresses. In Farhan Akthar's show "Oye It's Friday" Karan mention it. Farhan asks Karan about the last actress he was in love with. Let us make it in caps "THE LAST" and Karan answers Sridevi, Farhan says why not Kajol as he had a better relationship with her and Karan says Sridevi because she was Sridevi. He mentions how he used to make shows at his house and dance on her songs with his friends. He also says that she is the industry's best actress "Industry's sab se behtareen actress hi hai". Then Farhan talks about his incident with her during the making of Lamhe's dance sequence and how he became her big fan as well. The most interesting thing is that Sridevi is never out of mind. While other actresses are getting the praise while they have to be present or while their name should be mentioned but with Sridevi it is totally a different story. Nobody has to mention her name but a general question of the best or the favorite will get her name mentioned immediately. This is what we have seen with stars like Kajol. With each day passing Sridevi look younger and of course look better. We have added to the gallery few Sri's pictures when she attended Stardust Awards 2009. Man!!! She looked so beautiful in a in cream colored Gauri-Nainika one-shouldered gown with gold and red flower motifs. Just like a princess. Besides Sridevi the only two we liked in the Awards were Rekha & Twinkle Khanna who looked elegant as well, but Sri's look was the BEST!!!. Some websites even made a joke that Sridevi seems to have the Benjamin Button syndrome as she's looking younger everyday!!.

Rahul Dev Burman and Asha Bosle have teamed up in the movie The Burning Train in a westernized and Indian style song "Meri Nazar Hai Tujh Pe" where both Hema Malini and Parveen Babi have danced to that song. Again Burman and Asha teamed up in Gurudev and offered something similar but the difference here that Sridevi danced both ways Hindi and western. The song is Mera Kaha Maanoge. Added to the gallery under February 2009 pictures Sridevi's attendance to two events. The first is for the premiere of the movie Victory where she attended the premiere with her husband. She looked fabulous in a black dress. Very elegant.

The second event is when she was the chief guest for the opening of Kimaya stores. This time she was traditionally dressed in a red green saari and looking as gorgeous as ever. She is looking better and better with age. Many websites have commented on the pictures stating that Sridevi has discovered the secret to the water of eternal youth and beauty!!!

The Times of India made a brief interview with the diva herself. The interview has been added in the interviews section. When told that she is one the most beautiful women Bollywood ever seen, Sridevi replied  "According to me, Rekha and Hema Malini are the true south Indian stunners. They have style and poise that is unmatched. They set the precedent for us and I don’t think I even come close to these divas" That is how Sridevi always been, so polite and so earthy. In the interview Sridevi also talks about her comeback with Mr. India 2. However, she does not mention Shah Rukh Khan who is supposed to play Mogambo's role in the movie according to the recent rumors.

Added today in videos an excellent scene from Gumrah - This shows the way Sridevi has portrayed the fragile character Roshni in Gumrah - Though the scene does not have much dialogue but the terrifying face of Roshni say it all.

Today's update is Gair Kanooni special. The movie was released in 1989. In this movie Sridevi plays the title role and her name appears in the credits before Shashi Kapoor, Rajnikanth & Govinda. Govinda has officially pleaded the director Prayag Raaj to get him with Sridevi in this movie. In this song you can see Govinda and the way he looks and admires Sridevi which is very evident. The song Tum jo parda rakhoge is the first song of its kind. It is a comedy mujra!!! Who else but Sridevi can do that!!! The first comedy mujra and most probably the last one. It is claimed that this song was the first shooting schedule between Sri & Govinda.

Then there is this scene where Sridevi shows an amazing comedic act while Govinda fights the gang. It is amazing how Sridevi makes this scene so enjoyable. Just remove her from the scene to find that without her it is nothing. Her body language is fantastic. Hope you all enjoy the videos.

I really love this scene from Khuda Gawah 1992 as it sounds like a legendary story, a fairy tale. I have watched this scene maybe over 1000 times.. Both Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi sound amazing. Their voice modulation here is perfect 100% fitting the roles they are playing. Sridevi sounds here perfect for the role. Many people might say that Sri has a childish voice but once they see such scenes and movies they will realize that the lady sounds as per the character she is playing. This scene itself is a proof of what I'm saying. The scene represents the two biggest mountains (Amtaibh & Sri) in Bollywood facing each other.

Another update for the day: On behalf of all Sridevi fans I have made this video as a reply to the lies said by Saroj Khan regarding her so called conflict with Sridevi. The video shows the reason for the conflict which was confirmed by both Sridevi and Saawan Kumar which is Saroj unprofessional behavior on the sets on Chaand Kaa Tukdaa. She tried previously to create a bad picture of Sridevi and with this video looks like she did not learn a lesson from her previous mistake. This video also shows what her son Raju Khan has revealed about his mother's ego and attitude. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Today I have added in the video clip section the song Mamma Miya from the movie Justice Chaudhury (1983). It is a funny and nice song. Sridevi looks so gorgeous in this clip specially in the red outfit with a red rose in her hair she looks like a Barbie doll or a true princess.
